Morson Edge, a leading employee-owned multidisciplinary consultancy, is recruiting a Senior Associate Town Planner to join its growing Planning team in Bristol or London. The role offers hybrid working, leadership responsibilities, and opportunities to shape nationally significant developments.

You will lead complex planning applications, manage client relationships, mentor colleagues and contribute to business growth within a collaborative environment that includes architects, urban designers

Qualifications

• Essential MRTPI Chartered Town Planner with minimum 5 years' PQ planning experience.
• Proven client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and team development abilities.
• Experience managing project budgets and commercial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage major planning applications and complex projects.
• Provide strategic planning advice to public and private sector clients.
• Build and maintain client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Prepare and review planning strategies, reports and submissions.
• Support business development, including bid preparation and winning work.
• Mentor junior team members and assist with resource planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to team leadership and overall business strategy.
