With significant firmwide targets, it is crucial that we develop a team to support the onboarding process and continue to make enhancements to ensure the client experience is truly world class.

As a Senior Associate, the successful candidate will drive excellence in service delivery, offer mentorship to colleagues, and work to optimise operational processes. This role requires the ability to juggle tasks and would suit someone who has a strong problem-solving skillset and is looking to flex their leadership skills.

RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.

What will you do?

Building trust with internal stakeholders to give them confidence in the process and enhance the clients’ experience.

Acting as a contact for internal partners and clients, providing full expert support and assistance with day-to-day banking and operational requirements.

Report Pod activities, performance metrics, and key updates to the SET Manager on a weekly basis, ensuring transparency and alignment with wider organizational goals.

Lead daily Pod Calls to discuss priorities, challenges, and progress, fostering a collaborative and focused team environment

Work with the Manager and business partners to give feedback on ways to improve the process as well as helping to identify training needs of the broader advisor community to enhance and support client service.

Serve as a mentor to Pod members, providing guidance, feedback, and support to enhance their professional development and performance, aligning to RBC’s values of integrity and collaboration.

Oversee the initial and ongoing training of Pod members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Develop and update procedures to streamline workflows and ensure compliance and maintain operational efficiency.

Act as the first point of escalation for issues within the Pod, providing timely and effective resolution. Lead the correction of Operational Risk Events (OREs) in collaboration with Pod members, ensuring accurate documentation via Open Pages reports

Take ownership of complex referrals assigned to the Pod, demonstrating expertise and leadership in resolving more intricate cases.

Provide actionable feedback on day-to-day operations, leveraging frontline insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
