Qualifikationen

• Qualified solicitor with experience advising central, devolved and local government authorities on public law and commercial matters.
• Strong drafting and written communication skills with the confidence to negotiate.
• Experience in public procurement, subsidy control and related funding programmes is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Advise public sector bodies on public law and commercial issues, governance and vires/powers for central and local government.
• Draft, review and advise on complex contracts, grant funding agreements and procurement documents.
• Develop long-term client relationships and collaborate with national teams.
• Support business development and share knowledge within the team.
• Manage a varied caseload with competing deadlines while maintaining high client service standards.
• Keep abreast of developments in public procurement law, Subsidy Control and public funding.
