Job summary

DWF LLP is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to advise central, devolved and local government bodies on public law and commercial issues, including governance and vires. You will draft and review complex contracts, grant funding agreements, and procurement documents, while building long-term client relationships.

You will collaborate with colleagues nationwide within DWF's Government and Public Sector practice, support business development, and mentor junior lawyers as you deliver

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with public law and procurement experience.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters for public sector clients.

Responsibilities

• Advise public sector bodies on public law and procurement matters, governance, and vires for central and local authorities.
• Draft, review and advise on complex contracts including grant funding and procurement documents.
• Develop long-term client relationships and support business development.
• Mentor junior lawyers and share knowledge within the national Commercial team.
