Job summary

QC Legal is seeking an experienced solicitor to join its well-regarded Projects, Development & Construction team in London. The role focuses on non-contentious construction work for developers, investors and public bodies, handling documentation from inception to completion and advising on procurement strategies.

You will manage a varied caseload, supervise junior lawyers, and contribute to business development while enjoying a flexible hybrid working arrangement and access to high-profile UK

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 6+ years PQE in non-contentious construction.
• Extensive knowledge of JCT, NEC and FIDIC contracts.
• Experience advising on development and housing projects is advantageous.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and client management skills.
• Ability to supervise junior lawyers and manage multiple matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise on construction and development projects from inception to completion.
• Draft, negotiate and advise on project documentation.
• Handle procurement strategies and risk allocation.
• Manage client relationships and mentor junior lawyers.
• Contribute to BD and growth of the practice.
