Job Description

We are looking to speak with Project Managers to help us assist our clients deliver high profile projects across the Infrastructure and Defence Sector.

As a member of our growing team, you would be working to help us make a difference with our clients in delivering highly complex projects and programmes.

You would be based out of our Bristol Office and most likely spend most of your time mixed-working with colleagues and client teams based across the South West. Most of our clients and programmes support hybrid working.

  • Leading, managing and developing project teams or work streams as part of larger projects and delivering results through others.
  • Managing and controlling the commercial aspects of projects and programmes; experienced in monthly budgeting/forecasting and managing project budgets.
  • Managing the schedule and wider tie elements of complex projects and programmes.
  • Managing internal and external stakeholders in a project/programme environment; using stakeholder management methods and techniques to manage risk and dependencies.
  • Demonstrating knowledge and experience in one or more related business/infrastructure and defence sector areas.
  • Project Business Case formulation detailing project’s objectives, costs and benefits demonstrating to stakeholders of its value.
  • Building long-term trusted advisor relationships with our clients.
Desired Experience:
  • Previous experience of working with UK Government and Tier 1 organisations would be beneficial, particularly in the Defence environment.
  • Experience of project management and/or programme management, adding value at the initial strategic planning phase all the way into implementation, construction and delivery in the context of infrastructure projects and programmes.
  • Experience in the construction and infrastructure sectors in regulated environments.
  • Experience in the Nuclear sector.
  • Previous experience of procurement and managing NEC contracts would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience of managing contractors, consultants and other advisors on infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject with relatable experience.
  • Project Management Qualification (PRINCE2/APM PMQ/AGILE).
  • Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM).
  • NEC accredited PM.
  • Certified project management associate.
