Job summary

Clyde & Co in Manchester seeks a Senior Associate to join the National Professional Indemnity team and manage a broad range of professional liability matters for solicitors, accountants, financial advisers and other regulated professionals.

You will handle complex disputes, advise insurers on coverage, and run files independently while supporting firm-wide strategic matters under partner guidance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 PQE.
• Experience acting on coverage disputes in financial, professional and management lines.
• Knowledge of the FCA-regulated space and FOS procedures.
• Strong drafting, strategy and file management skills.
• Able to build client networks in the insurance market.
• Must hold a practising certificate under the Solicitors Act 1974.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad caseload of professional liability matters, including multi-party disputes, litigated and pre-action.
• Provide policy-coverage advice to insurers, Lloyd’s syndicates and corporate clients.
• Run files independently while contributing to larger strategic matters under partner guidance.
