Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate Lawyer to join the Corporate team of a highly regarded international legal practice, specialising in Corporate Real Estate transactions. This London-based role offers the chance to work with a diverse and prestigious client base across institutional, private capital, and high-net-worth individuals.

The firm operates at the forefront of the real estate legal market and has earned consistent recognition for its Tier 1 status in the hospitality and private wealth sectors. The Corporate Real Estate team plays a pivotal role within the wider firm, handling high-profile UK and international deals involving significant real estate assets and operational real estate businesses.

The Senior Associate Lawyer’s role

As a Senior Associate Lawyer within the Corporate Real Estate team, you will be responsible for advising on a broad spectrum of complex corporate transactions. These will include:

  • Private M&A and investment structures

  • Joint ventures and co-investment arrangements, including private equity-backed deals

  • Corporate structuring and restructuring projects

  • Leading and coordinating cross-border mandates involving real estate assets

You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the real estate, finance, and tax practices, often taking on principal roles in headline-making transactions. The Senior Associate Lawyer will also contribute to mentoring junior lawyers and trainees while engaging in active client development.

The Senior Associate Lawyer

The successful Senior Associate Lawyer will bring:

  • A UK legal qualification (or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE

  • A strong background in Corporate Real Estate, gained from a recognised transactional legal practice

  • Demonstrable experience in drafting, structuring, and executing corporate real estate deals

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commercial mindset

  • Experience supporting and supervising junior lawyers

  • An interest in hospitality-related real estate transactions is beneficial, but not essential

This is a key opportunity for a legal professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment, with a clear path to further progression.

In Return?
  • A competitive salary in the region of £120,000 – £160,000, commensurate with experience

  • Private medical and dental cover, wellbeing allowance, and lifestyle benefits

  • 25 days’ annual leave, pension scheme, income protection, and enhanced family leave

  • Flexible working with a minimum of three days in-office

  • Access to state-of-the-art office facilities in central London

  • Comprehensive development and career progression programmes within a truly inclusive environment

This position will suit a driven Senior Associate Lawyer seeking to take the next step in their career within a leading Corporate Real Estate legal team.
