Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Instructional Designer to join our Learning & Development (L&D) team in EMEA. The Instructional Designer will support the Portfolio leads in the designing, developing, and delivering of high-quality learning solutions that enhance employee performance and drive business outcomes. This role will work closely with the Learning Business Partners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and stakeholders to assess learning needs, design engaging learning experiences, and evaluate their effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development

  1. Design and develop engaging and effective learning materials (e.g., eLearning modules, instructor-led training, virtual learning, job aids, and microlearning).
  2. Create interactive and multimedia learning experiences using modern instructional design tools and methodologies.
  3. Ensure content aligns with business goals and meets adult learning principles and best practices.

Needs Analysis & Strategy

  1. Collaborate with learning business partners, SMEs, and stakeholders to define learning objectives and desired outcomes.
  2. Recommend instructional strategies and delivery methods that best suit learner needs and content type.

Implementation & Delivery

  1. Work with portfolio leads and the delivery team to support the rollout and delivery of learning programs.
  2. Ensure learning materials are accessible and easy to navigate for all learners.

Evaluation & Improvement

  1. Analyze feedback and learning data to assess the impact of programs and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Continuously update and enhance learning content based on learner feedback and business needs.

Stakeholder Management

  1. Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on best practices in instructional design and learning delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience:

  1. Proven experience as an Instructional Designer, Learning Designer, or similar role in a corporate environment.
  2. Experience designing both eLearning and instructor-led training.

Skills:

  1. Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and learning theories.
  2. Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS).
  3. Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Creative problem-solving and a learner-centric mindset.
