Job summary

LHH in Manchester is seeking a Senior Associate to bolster its Global Finance Group. The role focuses on Asset Based Lending (ABL) with opportunities to engage across the wider finance practice.

The candidate should bring 4–7 years’ PQE, be a qualified Solicitor, and be comfortable leading matters and developing client relationships. The role offers exposure to cross-border transactions, involvement in key finance documentation, and potential secondments across offices.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with English market experience or a Commonwealth jurisdiction with at least two years' English market exposure.
• Finance law background with exposure to Asset Based Lending (ABL).
• Ability to lead matters, own key documents, and guide junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Handle ABL transactions as core focus with potential to expand into leveraged finance and related banking matters.
• Advise lenders and borrowers, working across capital structures and cross-border deals.
• Take ownership of documents such as credit agreements and security documents; report to partners.
• Collaborate with international offices; contribute to business development and client relationships.
