Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a regulatory professional to collaborate with authorities and payment systems on the National Payments Vision. You will contribute to PSR guidance on new and evolving payment systems and build a deep understanding of payment landscapes, governance, and business strategies.

You will engage internal teams and external stakeholders to drive regulatory outcomes. You will lead complex initiatives, analyse information, and articulate strategic recommendations in written reports,

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulatory, supervisory, monitoring, compliance, policy or similar environment.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships and contributing to regulatory, policy or compliance-related outcomes.
• Experience analysing complex information and making recommendations through reports, briefings, policy papers or assessments.
• Understanding of payment systems and the broader payments landscape.
• Experience leading or owning complex projects, workstreams or policy initiatives.

• Support the PSR’s contribution to the National Payments Vision and the future oversight of payment systems

Requirements

• Experience in a regulatory, supervisory, monitoring, compliance, policy or similar environment
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships and contributing to regulatory, policy or compliance-related outcomes
• Experience analysing complex information and making recommendations through written reports, briefings, policy papers, assessments or similar outputs
• Understanding of payment systems and/or the broader payments landscape
• Experience leading or taking ownership of complex projects, workstreams or policy initiatives
• Skill in working with internal and external stakeholders, building partnerships and negotiating toward strategic goals
• Ability to resolve complex strategic or operational problems
• Knowledge of economic regulation, competition and/or payments
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Sound judgement and decision-making capability
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results
• Effective project management skills
• Ability to work in the office a minimum of 50% of working time each month
