Financial Conduct Authority is seeking a Future Payment Systems & Infrastructure Senior Associate to help shape the UK payments regulatory landscape, with a focus on the PSR transition and a consistent oversight approach.

The role involves regulatory cooperation with authorities and industry, delivering policy work, and influencing outcomes for consumers, businesses and the economy across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory, supervisory, monitoring, policy or similar environment with stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to analyse complex information and produce concise reports or policy papers.
• Understanding of payment systems and the broader payments landscape.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other authorities and payment systems participants on National Payments Vision issues.
• Contribute to the PSR’s approach to new and developing payment systems.
• Build a deep understanding of payment systems, models, environments, and governance.
• Deliver robust regulatory assessments to improve outcomes for users of payment systems.
• Foster relationships with internal stakeholders and teams across delivery.
• Promote collaboration, inclusion and PSR values within the supervisory team.
