Job summary

PSR Limited is seeking a Future Payment Systems and Infrastructure Senior Associate to help shape the UK payments landscape. The role sits in the Payments Systems Market Interventions department and will influence oversight as the PSR transitions into the FCA.

The salary ranges by location reflect a broad, market-aligned framework for experienced professionals. Based in London or other UK offices, the role will engage with senior stakeholders and cross-government partners to deliver robust

Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory, supervisory, monitoring, compliance, policy or similar environment with stakeholder management.
• Experience analysing complex information and producing actionable outputs through reports or policy papers.
• Understanding of payment systems and the payments landscape and how regulation applies to them.
• Experience leading complex projects or policy initiatives with accountability for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other authorities and payment systems participants on National Payments Vision issues.
• Contribute to PSR’s approach to new and developing payment systems.
• Develop a deep understanding of payment systems, models, operating environments and governance.
• Support robust regulatory assessment and delivery of improved outcomes for users of payment systems.
• Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Promote collaboration, inclusion and learning within the Supervision team.
