Job summary

The client in Oxford is seeking a Senior Associate / Associate Engineer to join their Operational Assets team as Office Workstream Lead. You will manage and develop the Oxford workstream, drive business development with existing and new clients, and oversee delivery of Operational Asset services across the Oxford office and wider region.

This senior leadership role requires Chartered status, strong technical skills in building services, and commercial awareness.

Qualifications

Chartered status as a qualified design engineer.
Strong technical expertise in a primary engineering discipline.
Commercial awareness and project risk management.
Proven experience in design, contract administration and site supervision.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Oxford Operational Assets workstream, planning, finance, and team management.
Secure new projects and strengthen existing client relationships to support regional growth.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and supervision to engineers.
Coordinate with other discipline teams to deliver diverse projects.
Recruit, train, and develop team members for long-term succession.
Undertake detailed design, technical specification, and site monitoring.
Manage commissioning and post-occupancy engineering services.
Produce technical reports and liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Lead projects valued up to several million pounds.
