Beeby Anderson Recruitment is seeking a Principal/Associate Engineer for an Oxford-based Operational Assets team. The role focuses on existing buildings, delivering pragmatic solutions and using real-time data to drive net-zero progress.

Qualifications

Chartered status or progress toward chartership as a qualified design engineer.
Strong experience on refurbishment and fit-out projects in existing buildings.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of building data analytics and metering systems.
Proven experience in performance specification, detailed design, contract administration, and site supervision.
Broad knowledge of building services engineering with primary discipline expertise.

Responsibilities

Lead work delivery, planning, and team strategy for regional and local clients.
Provide mentorship and technical supervision to colleagues.
Collaborate with other teams and discipline leads for efficient delivery.
Recruit, train, and develop team members and support succession planning.
Undertake detailed design, technical specification, and site monitoring activities.
Monitor commissioning and post-occupancy engineering services.
Prepare feasibility studies, condition surveys, and investigative reports.
Maintain strong commercial awareness and client relationships.
