TLT is recruiting a Senior or Managing Associate to join its Employment team in Birmingham (with options in Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh or London). The team is nationally recognised and handles a wide range of employment matters for major clients across retail, public and financial services sectors.

You will lead on disciplinary and grievance issues, TUPE matters, and Tribunal work, drafting employment contracts and related agreements, and collaborating with Partners and the wider

• 3+ years PQE in an employment team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist employers with workplace issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, restructuring and redundancies.
• Lead on Employment Tribunal claims (largely on the Respondent side).
• Provide employment law support in TUPE matters, corporate deals and outsourcing contracts, contract drafting and client training.
• Draft contracts of employment, consultancy agreements, staff handbooks, settlement agreements and other employment-related documentation.
• Collaborate with Partners and work closely with the national Employment team.

Our busy Employment team continues to grow nationwide and we are recruiting for a Senior or Managing Associate to join us in Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh or London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a Chambers UK and Legal 500 ranked team at a senior level, and work with "Leading Individuals", as named in the Legal 500.

Many of our clients are well known names in the retail, public, and financial services sectors and we provide a full range of employment support, including in defending Employment Tribunal claims.

Your Role

As a key addition to the team, day to day you can expect to be involved with high quality, varied work including:

• Helping employers manage issues in the workplace such as disciplinaries, grievances, restructuring and redundancies
• Leading on Employment Tribunal claims (almost exclusively acting for Respondents)
• Providing employment law support in TUPE matters, corporate deals and outsourcing contracts, contract drafting and client training
• Drafting of contracts of employment, consultancy agreements, staff handbooks, settlement agreements and other employment related documentation
• Collaborating with Partners and working closely with the wider national Employment team

Your Skills &Experience

• A qualified lawyer with 3+ years PQE in an employment team
• A forward thinker, with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, you will be self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
• Commercially aware with some exposure to business development, with the ability to maintain and nurture strong client relationships
• Develop a deep understanding of your client’s business needs, and act in the best interest of the firm and the client
• Contribute to our collaborative culture, with an ambition to assist in the development of junior team members
