Job summary

A reputable claims consultancy based in Warrington is seeking an Associate Director – Commercial & Quantum. This role involves leading client assignments, providing expert advice on construction contracts, and preparing claims and dispute submissions. Ideal candidates will have around 10 years of experience, strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts, and excellent skills in commercial advice. Qualifications

• Around 10 years’ post-graduate experience, ideally from a Quantity Surveying background.
• Involvement in formal disputes (adjudication, arbitration, litigation) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead client assignments on commercial, quantum, and contractual matters.
• Provide commercially focused advice to prevent and resolve disputes.
• Prepare and review claims and dispute submissions.

Skills

Strong experience providing professional commercial advice

Excellent knowledge of core QS duties

Strong working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts

Confident and articulate in client-facing roles

Competent with Microsoft Office

Education

Degree-qualified (or equivalent)

RICS membership or MSc/LLM in Construction Law
