Qualifications

• Experience within a claims/disputes consultancy is advantageous but not essential.
• Exposure to formal dispute processes (adjudication, arbitration or litigation) is beneficial.
• Candidates actively working towards chartership may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Review construction contracts and advise on contractual entitlements and risk.
• Provide practical, commercially focused advice to help avoid and resolve disputes.
• Support the preparation of claims and dispute submissions.
• Deliver coaching and training to clients on commercial and contractual issues.

Skills

Prior experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor

Proven capability providing professional commercial and contractual advice in construction

Strong grounding in core QS duties

Confident, professional and client-facing

Solid knowledge of standard forms of contract

Competent with Microsoft Office packages

Education

Degree-qualified (or equivalent)

Professional membership (e.g. RICS)
