Job summary

HSBC Asset Management seeks an Associate Director within Direct Lending to originate opportunities across the UK and Europe, leading assessment and financial modelling for investment recommendations. The role reports to an Investment Director and sits in a high-impact private credit team with HSBC Bank collaboration.

You will manage ongoing oversight of investments post-completion, coordinating with sponsors and external parties to ensure efficient execution and portfolio monitoring.

Qualifications

• Associate Director level experience in Private Credit/Lending essential.
• Experience with mid-market lending and deal origination.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and present clear reports.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Originate new investment opportunities in UK/Europe.
• Lead assessment and analysis for Investment Committee recommendations.
• Monitor portfolio and oversee post-completion investments.
• Collaborate with sponsors, advisers, and HSBC origination teams.
