Job summary

Barings in London seeks a Client Portfolio Manager for Private Credit at Associate Director/Director level. Based in London, you will partner with investment teams, sales and other stakeholders to drive client servicing, product development and business growth across Global/European Direct Lending.

You will develop market insights, communicate strategies, support RFPs/DDQs and coordinate marketing materials for Barings’ fund offerings, reporting to the MD of Client Portfolio Management – Private

Qualifications

University degree in Finance, Economics or related field preferred.
5-10 years+ experience in investment management or investment specialist role, Private Credit focus preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to convey market dynamics, portfolio strategy and risk factors.

Responsibilities

Take a senior Client Portfolio Management role within European Private Credit, focusing on Global and European Direct Lending.
Act as primary business development liaison for European Private Credit capabilities.
Communicate investment strategies internally and externally to grow assets under management.
Provide updates on Private Credit market conditions, performance, and market levels.
Collaborate with internal teams to lead client proposals (RFPs) and due-diligence questionnaires (DDQs).
Oversee creation of marketing materials and review client reporting.
