Job summary

Connect Legal Partners is seeking a senior corporate and commercial lawyer to join the team in a pivotal role focused on leading a broad mix of corporate and commercial deals, including mergers and acquisitions, demergers, joint ventures and commercial contracts. You will take the lead on your own client matters and provide practical commercial advice.

You will also support and train junior lawyers, contributing to growth of the team through business development and client development activities.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years PQE or more in corporate and commercial work (flexible for the right person).
• A good spread of transactional and commercial contract experience.
• Confidence with clients and the drive to build your own practice.

A well established regional law firm acting for businesses and private clients across a wide range of legal work.

The role

You will join the corporate and commercial team, reporting to two partners. You will lead a broad mix of corporate and commercial deals, including mergers and acquisitions, demergers, joint ventures and commercial contracts. You will take the lead on your own client matters, give practical commercial advice, support and train junior lawyers, and play a real part in growing the team through business development.

What you will need
