Mills & Reeve is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Norwich office, focusing on corporate law with an emphasis on M&A, venture capital, and corporate finance. You will manage transactions, supervise junior colleagues, and cultivate strong client relationships in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
The role offers a broad mix of corporate work and the opportunity to contribute to practice growth, with a supportive culture and potential for flexible working arrangements.
We are hiring a Senior Associate into our growing national team, to be based in the Norwich office.
We are looking for an ambitious, experienced and entrepreneurial corporate solicitor to join our Norwich office as a Senior Associate. If that description fits you, you will enjoy undertaking a broad mix of corporate work, including M&A, corporate finance venture capital, as well as general corporate advisory work.
You'll be a talented corporate lawyer with 3+ years' PQE, gained in a City or leading regional firm. Commercially minded and technically strong, you'll have experience managing M&A transactions, building trusted client relationships and taking ownership of complex work. You'll be a confident communicator with excellent drafting skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively while supporting and mentoring junior colleagues. An interest in venture capital, investment rounds and the Technology or Life Sciences sectors would be advantageous. Above all, you'll bring energy, curiosity and a genuine enthusiasm for helping grow our practice, our client relationships and your own career.
As you'd expect, we offer a competitive salary and a wide range of benefits.
If we offer you a role, we will conduct comprehensive pre-employment screening. This screening will include, but is not limited to, a basic DBS, verification of your right to work, a three year employment history and a self-declaration to assess your character and suitability for the role. Full details of our pre-screening employment process are available upon request.
