Job summary

FTSE Russell, part of London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), seeks an experienced Senior Associate to oversee the Controls Framework and RCSA in a global, first-line risk context. Hybrid London-based role with collaboration across Product, Operations, Engineering and Corporate Functions.

You will lead control documentation, process-risk-control mapping and RCSA workshops, ensuring evidence standards, timely remediation and robust governance reporting across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational risk, controls, audit, governance, compliance, assurance or a comparable regulated environment.
• Good understanding of risk and control frameworks, including control design, ownership, evidence, testing, effectiveness assessment and lifecycle management.
• Experience conducting control reviews, control assessments, risk assessments, assurance activity or quality assurance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, operation and ongoing enhancement of the FTSE Russell Controls Framework.
• Assist with development and maintenance of control standards, methodologies, guidance, templates and procedures.
• Promote consistent control documentation and ownership across FTSE Russell, ensuring controls are described clearly, measurably and testably.
• Support governance relating to control design, lifecycle management, ownership and evidence standards.
• Help ensure controls are aligned to LSEG requirements and regulatory expectations.
• Provide practical support to control owners on documentation, objectives, frequency, evidence and ownership.
• Maintain framework documentation and materials, ensuring currency and accessibility.
• Support embedding framework requirements across business areas via workshops and guidance.
