Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks an Associate or Associate Director with geo-environmental expertise to lead land quality assessments for major UK infrastructure projects. Based in our UK offices with hybrid working, you will head Phase 1/Phase 2 work, support EIAs, and manage multi-disciplinary teams across transportation, energy, and buildings sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in geology, geography, earth sciences or environmental science.
• Chartered status or SiLC/QP preferred; attempt to become chartered within 6–12 months.
• Experience delivering land quality assessments and managing multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on land quality assessments for major infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate and deliver Phase 1 desk studies and Phase 2 site investigations for EIAs and planning processes.
• Lead project delivery including programme, budget, QA and technical reviews.
• Mentor junior staff and support their development.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and maintain CPD.
