Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UK is seeking an Associate Director Civil Engineer to lead civil design delivery within the Land Development team. Based in London or Epsom, you will manage multi-disciplinary projects for public and privatesector clients, ensuring high-quality technical outputs and timely delivery.

Your responsibilities include leading teams, developing design deliverables, guiding junior engineers, and engaging with clients and stakeholders while promoting innovative and sustainable

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Civil Engineer status.
• Proven experience leading large-scale civil engineering design delivery in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Broad knowledge of drainage, utilities, pavements and earthworks.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Expert knowledge of current design codes and CDM regulations.
• Proficiency in analytical software and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of civil engineers delivering technical design on complex projects.
• Develop project design deliverables for civil aspects within multi-disciplinary schemes.
• Manage production, reviews and approvals of reports, drawings and calculations.
• Provide technical leadership and champion best practices across the D&AT practice.
• Grow civil engineering capabilities and mentor junior staff.
• Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated designs.
