Overview

Senior Associate – Commercial Property Solicitor – Berkshire. Location: Reading (with hybrid working available). Level: Senior Associate. Salary: Competitive, DOE. Practice Area: Commercial Property / Real Estate. Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Responsibilities
  • Managing a wide-ranging caseload of commercial property matters
  • Acting on freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
  • Advising on and drafting leases, renewals, and related documents (licences to assign, underlet, or alter)
  • Supporting landlords and occupiers on portfolio management
  • Advising on property finance and secured lending
  • Providing property support on corporate transactions and business sales
  • Identifying risk and delivering commercially minded, pragmatic solutions
  • Contributing to business development and building relationships with commercial clients and referrers
What they’re looking for
  • A qualified solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE in commercial property
  • Able to run a full caseload independently, while also collaborating with partners and the wider team
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Commercial approach with the ability to assess and manage risk
