Job summary

Rue Two Recruitment Ltd in London is seeking a Senior/Associate Building Surveyor to manage multiple projects, acting as contract administrator or lead consultant. Projects range from circa £500K to £15m and include exterior renovations, refurbishments and major façade work.

Essentially you will perform core building surveying duties including defects diagnosis, planned maintenance, landlord/tenant matters, reinstatement cost assessments and party wall advice; MRICS preferred with 5+ years PQE.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification Building Surveying experience.
• Experience across residential, commercial and refurbishment projects.
• Knowledge of JCT contracts is essential; NEC knowledge helpful.
• Ability to lead a project team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects as contract administrator or lead consultant/project manager.
• Duties include defects diagnosis and planned maintenance programming.
• Advise on landlord/tenant matters and reinstatement cost assessments.
• Provide party wall guidance and general surveyor advice.
