Walkers is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Banking and Finance team in Jersey, working with global blue-chip clients and intermediaries. You will provide technically sound advice and maintain strong client relationships while helping to grow the Jersey B&F practice within the Channel Islands.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years PQE, excellent academics, and a commercially driven approach. You will contribute to know-how development, internal training, and professional ethics.

• Contribute to the development of the practice's know-how, sharing knowledge and participating in conferences, seminars, client presentations and internal training.
• Maintain a sustained record of revenue generation and profitability, following billing rates, managing costs and ensuring personal utilization meets expectations.
• Adhere to the Firm's values and professional ethics.

Walkers is offering an opportunity to an ambitious and technically strong lawyer to join its market leading and dynamic Banking and Finance (\" B&F \") team, as it continues on its proven and ongoing trajectory of growth.

The successful candidate will be based in the Firm's Jersey office, joining a team of leading practitioners, working on behalf of global blue chip clients and intermediaries. In helping to build out and service the Jersey B&F business, they will be a part of the ongoing expansion across all of the Firm's practice groups in the Channel Islands.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

• Senior Associate in the Firm's B&F Practice in Jersey.


• Provide technically sound advice and a highly responsive service externally to clients and internally by way of support, as needed, to colleagues, senior counsel and partners on all client matters.


• Manage files in accordance with the Firm's requirements, expectations and practices from time to time.


• Participate in the development of the practice’s know-how, sharing knowledge and actively participating in conferences, seminars, client presentations and internal training.


• Maintain a sustained record of revenue generation and profitability, following recommended billing rates, managing costs appropriately and ensuring personal utilization meets expectations.


• Adhere to the Firm's values and professional ethics.

Education, Skills & Experience

• Qualified lawyer with a minim of 5 years PQE.
