Job summary

Horwich Farrelly is seeking an experienced solicitor in London with 5+ years' PQE to lead high-value dispute cases. You will handle contractual breaches, shareholder and director disputes, civil fraud, professional negligence, and insolvency matters, with autonomy from pre-action analysis to trial and international arbitration.

The role emphasizes strategic client advisory, mentoring junior associates, and contributing to business development within a dynamic, hybrid-working environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years' PQE or equivalent relevant expertise.
• Experience in contractual breaches, shareholder and director disputes, civil fraud, professional negligence, property and insolvency litigation.
• Ability to manage an autonomous, high-value caseload from pre-action analysis to trial or settlement, including High Court proceedings and international arbitration.
• Draft complex pleadings, witness statements and applications, while overseeing counsel and experts.
• Act as a primary, client-facing contact and provide commercially pragmatic advice.
• Supervise, mentor and coordinate junior associates and trainees.
• Contribute to networking, pitching, and growing the firm's dispute resolution practice.
