Job summary

London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is recruiting a Senior Assistant Project Manager Capital Projects to join the PMO in London. You will work with Business Analysts, IT PMs, and Estates staff to deliver strategic capital projects up to £15M within central London buildings.

The role is full-time (35 hours per week, 1.0 FTE) and permanent. A degree (or equivalent experience) and a background in managing building or refurbishment projects, ideally in higher education, are essential.

Qualifications

• A degree (or higher) or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience managing building or refurbishment projects, ideally in HE.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; familiarity with APM/Prince2 environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver key strategic Capital projects up to £15M in Central London.
• Actively monitor risks, budgets, quality, scope and internal communications.
