Cumberland Farms is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join our Finance function at our Head Office in Horwich. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will support day-to-day financial control and reporting across the business.

You will lead a Finance team, oversee balance sheet activities, coordinate year-end audit, and ensure robust processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to develop in a fast-paced global business.

Qualifications

• Qualified finance professional with strong accounting and control experience.
• Experience in month-end reporting, balance sheet management, statutory reporting and audit.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day financial control and reporting across the business.
• Lead and manage a Finance team, providing direction and coaching.
• Oversee key balance sheet activities and robust financial controls.
• Coordinate year-end audit and statutory financial statements.
• Provide financial analysis to explain movements and variances.
