Job summary

Citizen Housing Group is seeking an Asset Surveyor to join our Asset Management team. You will deliver the disrepair service, undertake Part 35 surveys, collect data, arrange remedial works and post inspections across our West Midlands stock.

You will work with colleagues, contractors and customers to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes and contribute to investment, disrepair and surveying programmes across our homes and communal buildings. 37hrs per week, salary £46,877.

Qualifications

• Procurement and delivery of major works programmes with contract management.
• Effective stakeholder consultation and monitoring of customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of procurement and standard forms of contracts in construction.
• Develop specifications from inception and provide customer-focused solutions.
• Knowledge of housing disrepair, building pathology and Planning/Building Regulations.
• Health and Safety considerations for building-related hazards.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple investment projects with contract and budget oversight.
• Ensure customer requirements are defined, communicated and met throughout.
• Carry out on-site inspections to verify compliance with contract specs.
• Undertake surveys for structural defects, fire damage, disrepair and property purchase reports.
