Job summary

Habitat Energy is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Oxford Operations team to own end-to-end asset onboarding and ongoing performance for GB contracted battery storage projects. You will coordinate clients, contractors, and internal teams to meet milestones, manage risks and ensure market readiness for immediate trading revenue.

The role demands 5+ years in project management, deep knowledge of GB registration processes (BSC/Elexon), and a proactive, self-starting approach within a hybrid

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in project or programme management.
• Experience with GB market registration — metering, BSC and Elexon processes, BM Unit registration, and pre-qualification for NESO ancillary services.
• Background with construction contracts (Familiarity with JCT, NEC, or FIDIC advantageous).

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of asset onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to align with Habitat's timelines.
• Lead risk management, structured planning and clear communication across departments.
• Support asset monitoring and control capability enhancements and collaborate with Software/Operations teams.
