Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd in Leicester is seeking a Senior Asset Manager to lead the management and optimisation of a diverse commercial property portfolio.

You will develop asset management and investment strategies, identify value-add opportunities, and oversee financial appraisals, leases, renewals, and negotiations. The role requires MRICS, a Real Estate degree, strong stakeholder skills, and a UK driving licence; hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Real Estate, Property, or related discipline.
• Full MRICS membership required.
• Strong experience in commercial property and asset management.
• Experience with financial appraisals, valuations, lease management and negotiations.
• Experience managing portfolios and delivering asset optimisation strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Developing asset management, investment and disposal strategies.
• Identifying surplus and under-performing assets and developing value-add opportunities.
• Undertaking financial and commercial appraisals for lettings, rent reviews, renewals and refurbishments.
• Leading commercial negotiations with developers, partners, stakeholders and other parties.
• Managing external property and legal consultants to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Providing valuation and strategic asset management advice on retention, disposal, development and investment opportunities.
• Ensuring statutory, legal and governance requirements are met across the property portfolio.
• Preparing reports, recommendations and strategic property information for senior stakeholders and relevant committees.
• Contributing to corporate asset management plans and wider property strategies.
• Maintaining accurate property and asset management information using relevant systems, CAD/GIS and other software.
