Job summary

ARM is seeking a Senior Asset Manager to oversee a diverse commercial property portfolio from Leicester with hybrid working. You will develop asset management and investment strategies to maximise value, reduce costs and improve income streams.

The role requires MRICS membership, a degree in Real Estate or related field, and a track record in lease management, financial appraisals and negotiations with developers and tenants.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Real Estate, Property, or similar.
• Full MRICS membership.
• Experience in commercial property and asset management.
• Proven ability in financial appraisals and lease negotiations.
• Strong stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop asset management, investment and disposal strategies.
• Identify surplus and under-performing assets and develop value-add opportunities.
• Undertaking financial and commercial appraisals for lettings, rent reviews, renewals and refurbishments.
• Leading commercial negotiations with developers, partners, stakeholders and other parties.
• Managing external property and legal consultants to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Providing valuation and strategic asset management advice on retention, disposal, development and investment opportunities.
• Ensuring statutory, legal and governance requirements are met across the property portfolio.
• Preparing reports, recommendations and strategic property information for senior stakeholders and relevant committees.
• Contributing to corporate asset management plans and wider property strategies.
• Maintaining accurate property and asset management information using relevant systems, CAD/GIS and other software.
