Job summary

Arup in the North seeks an Associate/Associate Director to lead advisory commissions in asset management for water and other regulated sectors. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, foster long-term client relationships and shape resilient, value-for-money outcomes.

You will apply whole-life asset management concepts, drive business development, mentor teams and contribute to Arup’s reputation for delivering impactful infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Infrastructure Finance, Business Administration and/or Development Finance or equivalent experience.
• Experience in infrastructure asset management in the water sector or other regulated sectors.
• Awareness of asset management principles across whole-life management areas.
• Experience in business development and preparation of proposals/tenders.
• People management and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Service delivery: technical leadership and delivery of commissions within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Project management: leadership and responsibility for financial success and outcomes of commissions.
• Building client relationships and supporting business development: developing opportunities and producing proposals/tenders.
• People management and development: supporting the professional development of team members and line management duties.
