Arup in the North of the United Kingdom seeks an Associate/Associate Director to join our Asset Management team and help infrastructure clients make better long-term decisions about their assets.

You will lead advisory commissions across the water sector, building relationships with owners and operators, and applying whole-life asset management to improve resilience and value. The role emphasizes leadership and business development within a collaborative, values-driven environment at Arup.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent with professional qualification in asset management or related field.
• Track record with infrastructure asset management in water or regulated sectors.
• Experience translating complex data into actionable insights and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience in business development and producing proposals and tenders.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead advisory commissions across the water sector, guiding long-term asset strategies.
• Build and manage client relationships, identify opportunities, and develop proposals/tenders.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring financial success and value outcomes.
