Job summary

Public Sector seeks an experienced Head of Asset Management in South Wales to lead asset investment, strategic planning and performance management. You will oversee £22m+ annual investment, drive data-led decisions, and manage asset data, stock condition and performance programmes.

The role demands senior leadership, strong budgeting, and a deep knowledge of social housing regulatory requirements, sustainability and building safety. Hybrid work with office presence 2 days per week.

Qualifications

• Senior-level asset management experience in social housing.
• Experience delivering long-term asset investment programmes.
• Strong financial awareness and budget management.
• Knowledge of stock condition, asset data and performance modelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead major asset investment and improvement programmes across a large housing portfolio.
• Develop long-term investment strategies informed by stock data and financial analysis.
• Oversee £20m+ annual investment with budgeting and risk management.
• Lead asset data, stock condition and performance programmes.
• Manage and develop asset management teams and contracts.
• Ensure regulatory, health and safety compliance.
