Job description

Nelson Permanent Placements is working with our client to recruit a Senior Asset Investment Manager with relevant experience to join a reputable market leader specializing in retrofit projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategic delivery of retrofit projects in a cost-effective and sustainable manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy Development: Determining and implementing the strategy for retrofit projects, overseeing and improving it.
• Project & Budget Management: Managing budgets, forecasts, and ensuring adherence to timelines and targets.
• Compliance: Ensuring full compliance with retrofit legislation, PAS 2035, and funding requirements.
• Contract Management: Leading collaboration with stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and tenants to ensure timely delivery.
• Technical Oversight: Identifying and resolving technical issues, ensuring high-quality outcomes meeting SLAs and KPIs.
• Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Staying updated with emerging retrofit measures, funding, and sector best practices.
• Out-of-Hours: Participating in the on-call rota to meet client needs.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in contract management on similar projects, whether in commercial or social housing.
• HND or equivalent qualification, with technical experience in construction or maintenance.
• Experience in people management, with the ability to motivate teams and excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on-site at least 3 days a week, with the remainder remote.
