Job summary

Cambridge & Counties Bank is seeking a Credit Underwriter to assess credit and risk profiles in the asset finance lending market. You will determine proposal acceptability and propose alternatives to meet customer needs while aligning with business goals.

The role requires ACIV or equivalent banking qualification, strong understanding of asset finance, and knowledge of conduct risk and regulatory rules; you will help ensure compliant lending sanctions and promote fair treatment of customers.

Qualifications

• Experience assessing credit and risk profiles in asset finance.
• Ability to interpret guidance and ensure customer interests are protected.
• Knowledge of the rules under the financial services acts.
• Familiarity with Conduct Risk and Treating Customers Fairly requirements.
