Job summary

Asset Finance International seeks two Credit Underwriters to join its Surrey-based team on a hybrid basis (2 days in the office, 3 days from home).

You will review credit proposals, analyse financials, and make decisions up to £250,000 while maintaining policy compliance and timely SLAs, building relationships with introducers and contributing to management reporting. This role offers a competitive salary up to £90k, plus year-end bonus and a company car.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ Asset Finance underwriting experience
• Write clear and accurate credit proposals within agreed timescales

Responsibilities

• Perform credit reviews and industry/customer research for new proposals and existing accounts.
• Analyze company financials, including balance sheets, and decide credit up to £250,000.
• Manage timelines for credit proposals and reviews per SLAs.
• Coordinate with Credit & Risk, Sales and Operations teams.
• Build and strengthen relationships with introducers to maximise business opportunities.
• Assist in underwriting reporting on exposures and asset concentration.
