Job summary

Universal Quantum is building world-changing quantum computers and seeks an Electronics Engineering specialist to design high-quality IC layouts across all design levels. You will work with designers to translate circuit requirements into robust layouts, ensure DRC/LVS cleanliness, and implement designs across multiple fabrication processes.

A strong background in mixed-signal ICs and CMOS tech is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience of IC Layout.
• Proficient with CAD layout tools.
• Deep understanding of CMOS technologies.
• Competent with device matching techniques and routing of sensitive signals.
• Experience of floor-planning and chip assembly.
• Ability to independently interpret DRC and LVS results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with people in different functions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality, full-custom, mixed-signal integrated circuit layouts.
• Contribute to the development of innovative IC designs.
• Work across all levels of the design from base cells to chip top-level.
• Collaborate closely with designers to understand specific circuit requirements.
• Deliver DRC/LVS clean layout within project schedules.
• Implement designs on a variety of fabrication processes.
