Senior Art Director

Start: As soon as possible (Notice periods can be incorporated)

Hybrid (2 days on-site in Central London)

Salary: £50,000-60,000 per annum

Senior Art Director opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative design agency based in London.

The Company

Instinct is partnering with a long-standing client dedicated to delivering impactful learning solutions within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.

The Role

Working with a cross-functional team of Medical Writers, Instructional Designers, and Graphic Designers. The Senior Art Director will leverage previous L&D experience to balance creativity with strategy, building engaging learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the visual creation of learning materials including e-learning modules and infographics, articulating design choices during client interactions.
• Collaborate closely with SMEs and developers to produce cohesive and engaging learning solutions.
• Create innovative graphics, animations, and UI/UX designs for digital and print media.

The Person

• Extensive experience in design within L&D, preferably with agency experience.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare/pharmaceutical sector or medical communications is preferred.
• Degree in graphic design, visual arts, or related field.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint; experience with UI/UX and motion graphics tools is desirable.
• Knowledge of authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise is highly beneficial.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to simplify complex information into visual content, and a commitment to high-quality standards in learning and scientific communication.
• Experience in mentoring and/or line management is advantageous.
