Job summary

Virtual Hire Staffing is working with an established design studio in the North East to recruit an Architectural Technologist. The role focuses on technical design development, detailing, and coordination through RIBA Stages 3 to 5.

You will lead on technical packages, ensure Building Regulations compliance, and support the team toward chartership. The firm offers a 4.5-day week, private pension, health cover, and ongoing PD opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years' post-qualification experience in a UK architectural practice.
• Strong technical ability across detailed design, specification and construction information.
• Proven experience delivering projects through technical design and construction stages.
• Advanced Revit skills and experience coordinating with the wider design team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of technical design information and coordinate with consultants and contractors.
• Resolve complex detailing and ensure Building Regulations compliance.
• Manage packages through technical design and construction stages (RIBA Stages 3–5).
• Support junior colleagues and progress toward chartership if applicable.
