Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist for our Huddersfield studio to lead high-profile projects across healthcare, civic, rail and commercial sectors.

The role requires a degree in Architectural Technology, UK building regulations knowledge, and proficiency with Revit, with responsibilities from inception to completion and mentoring junior staff. Hybrid working and a contributory pension are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree within Architectural Technology.
• Significant post qualification experience as a Technologist within a UK practice.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Experience managing projects across multiple sectorsJob running experience
• Excellent working knowledge of UK building regulations.
• Strong technical detailing and presentation skills.
• Experience managing a small team in a previous role.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver on a range of high-profile projects across multiple sectors
• Prepare and submit building regulation and planning application
• Manage and deliver on projects from inception through to completion
• Carry out site visits and ensure technical compliance is achieved
• Mentor more junior team members and contribute to their professional development
