Qualifications

• Degree in Architectural Technology.
• Ideally registered with CIAT.
• 7+ years of professional experience, including delivery of medium- to large-scale residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of NI/UK Building Regulations and their practical application.
• Exceptional attention to detail across design and construction phases.
• Experience working in both the UK and Ireland is advantageous.
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
• Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities.

Belfast Senior Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join our Belfast studio. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise and a passion for high-quality detailing. You will take a leading role in the detailed design and construction phases of our projects, ensuring full compliance with all relevant Building and Statutory Regulations. This role may require travel between our Belfast and Dublin office.

Responsibilities & Duties include but not limited to:

Lead the day-to-day delivery of assigned projects, working closely with the Project Lead.

Prepare and coordinate statutory submissions, tender documentation, detailed drawings, schedules, specifications, and construction packages.

Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and specialist teams.

Collaborate with engineers and other design professionals to ensure cohesive project development.

Maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout all project stages.

Conduct site inspections, monitor construction progress, and address technical queries as they arise.

Support and mentor junior team members as part of their professional development.

Candidate Profile

Degree in Architectural Technology.

Ideally registered with the CIAT.

7+ years of professional experience, including proven delivery of medium- to large-scale residential projects in Northern Ireland/UK.

Strong working knowledge of Northern Irish/UK Building Regulations and their practical application.

Exceptional attention to detail across both design and construction phases.

I deally the candidate will have previous experience of working in both the UK and Ireland.

Strong teamwork and leadership skills.

Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.

Advanced proficiency in Revit.

Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
