Job summary

Konker is inviting applications for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist on the outskirts of Leeds. You will take ownership of projects, coordinate technical information and produce detailed drawing packages while working with consultants and tier-one contractors.

Revit is used within the practice, but strong experience with other CAD tools may suffice if you can demonstrate the ability to learn Revit quickly.

Qualifications

• Hands-on senior Architectural Technologist with strong technical delivery capability.
• Ability to own projects, coordinate technical information and deliver detailed drawings.
• Proficient in Revit or demonstrate strong ability to pick up Revit quickly.

Job description

Konker is working with a well-established architectural practice on the outskirts of Leeds that is looking to strengthen its team with an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist.

The practice has an excellent pipeline of projects across residential, education, and sport and leisure, with a number of exciting schemes moving towards construction.

Current and upcoming work includes high-end residential developments across the Bradford and York areas, education and school projects, and sport and leisure centres. Some projects are progressing rapidly to site and involve working alongside tier-one contractors, offering the opportunity to be involved in technically challenging schemes with real momentum.

The practice is well regarded for its technical expertise and approach to project delivery. It's a well-run environment with an established team, a strong project pipeline and a focus on producing high-quality technical work.

This is a hands-on senior position where you'll take ownership of projects, coordinate technical information and produce detailed drawing packages. You'll work independently, liaise with consultants and contractors, and report back to project leads to help ensure projects are delivered effectively.

The practice is looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist who can hit the ground running, confidently manage their workload and bring strong technical knowledge to the team.

Revit is the software used within the practice, although candidates with strong technical experience using alternative software may also be considered if they can demonstrate the ability to pick up Revit. Experience across residential, education or other technically demanding sectors would be beneficial.
