Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is representing an award-winning architectural practice in Leeds seeking a Senior Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist to lead projects across a varied portfolio.

This role offers ownership of design development through construction, with collaboration between architects and technologists, and progression toward Associate-level responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be ARB or RIBA qualified with UK experience.
• Experience delivering projects across sectors in a UK practice preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction detailing and Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of multiple projects across a range of sectors and RIBA stages.
• Lead and coordinate project teams to deliver work to a high standard.
• Liaise directly with clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Develop technical designs, construction information and detailed drawing packages.

Salary: GBP42000 - GBP50000 per annum

We are currently representing anaward-winning architectural practice based in Leeds, with a history dating back almost 60 yearsand a portfolio of projects delivered across the UK. Due to a growing workload, the practice is looking to recruit a Senior Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist to join its established team and take ownership of projects across a varied portfolio.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative practice where experienced professionals are trusted to run projects, lead teams and work directly with clients, consultants and contractors. Our client prides themselves with anenvironment where Architects and Architectural Technologists work alongside one another, with responsibilities shaped around individual strengths rather than rigidly defined roles.

Their currentportfolio spans large-scale industrial developments, commercial offices, hotel and hospitality schemes, residential projects and complex refurbishments.The successful candidate will take responsibility for running projects from design development through to construction and completion, coordinating project teams and ensuring schemes progress efficiently. Strong technical knowledge, an understanding of construction detailing and the ability to manage projects confidently are central to the role.

This role would suit an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologistlooking for greater responsibility, a varied workload and the opportunity to develop towards Associate-level progression in the future.

Senior Architect Overview

• Take ownership of multiple projects across a range of sectors and RIBA work stages
• Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
• Liaise directly with clients, consultants, contractors and wider project stakeholders.
• Develop technical designs, construction information and detailed drawing packages.

Senior Architect Requirements

• ARB or RIBA Qualified Architector architectural technology qualifications.
• A minimum of five years' post-qualification experience within a UK architectural practice.
• Knowledge across all RIBA Stages
• Strong technical knowledge, including construction detailing, Building Regulations and UK planning requirements.
• Good working knowledge of CAD software, with Revit experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage workloads, resolve technical challenges and drive projects forward.
• A clear interest in developing professionally and building a long-term career within an established practice.
