Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Architectural Technician / Technical Architect in Manchester to deliver high-quality design packages. REVIT will be the core daily tool, with a REVIT assessment as part of the application process.

You will produce and coordinate detailed design information, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accuracy, compliance and excellence in project delivery within a secure and regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in technical detailing within architecture.
• Advanced REVIT capability (essential).
• AutoCAD knowledge (desirable).
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Daily production and coordination of models and drawings in REVIT.
• Preparing, reviewing and approving technical drawings.
• Liaising with design and drafting teams across disciplines.
• Delivering design packages of moderate to high complexity with supervision.
• Producing detailed drawings in line with project specifications.
• Preparing specifications, reports and data tables.
• Undertaking material take-offs and area calculations from REVIT models.
• Reviewing vendor and 3rd party documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
• Using CDE platforms for document control and coordination.
• Marking up drawings using Adobe PDF and MS Office.
