We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician to join our technical team in the Yorkshire West region, based in Leeds.
Reporting to the Technical Director, the successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the technical department, ensuring alignment with the company's 5-year strategic plan and business targets.
The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate all design information between external consultants and internal departments, ensuring timely approvals and the issuance of high-quality, accurate information to other teams.
The duties span from site feasibility through development to project completion and handover to authorities or discharge of obligations. The successful candidate will also contribute to meeting delivery targets, producing timely reports, and verifying the accuracy, adequacy, and commercial suitability of departmental information.
They will compile design information for procurement, tendering, construction issues, and live site support, participating in development team meetings alongside other departments.

We seek an experienced Senior Technician embodying Keepmoat values: a straightforward, professional attitude, organization, and resilience under pressure.
The candidate should approach problem-solving creatively, possess excellent communication and influencing skills, and be passionate about housebuilding with at least 2 years’ experience in a technical, new-build environment. They should be collaborative, supporting operational units and building strong relationships with customers. Proficiency in relevant design software like AutoCAD and advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office, are essential.
An Engineering qualification, degree, or equivalent accredited by the Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is required.
